The price of an index can range from $3.50 to $7 per page, depending on the type and density of the material, the depth of indexing required, and the timeline of the project.
Copy Editing
As a creator, you do the hard work of bringing a text to life; as your copy editor, I help bring clarity and precision to your project. With my training as a section and managing editor, I will conduct a thorough copy edit of your work while balancing your needs and those of your readers.
In the copy editing process, I correct grammar and punctuation while ensuring consistency of style and usage before your manuscript is laid-out by a publisher. The level of copy editing I provide, whether basic or heavy, depends on your project and needs.
Proofreading
After working so hard to create your manuscript, you want it to be error free. As your proofreader, I will catch those remaining spelling and typographical errors after your manuscript is laid-out to ensure that everything in your text is exactly as it should be before it goes to print.
Reference Formatting
When you’ve put all your energy into writing a book, formatting your footnotes and bibliographic citations can feel like an impossible task. As your editor, I can complete the final step for you and increase the credibility of your text by removing errors, checking for accuracy, and formatting your citations to conform to the required style, including Chicago, MLA, and APA.
